February is a month that will always pass by too fast for me. Seriously! I am so happy to report that I tried a ton of products this month and many of them were hits. So instead of rambling on, lets get to them since this post might be pretty long.
I must be hiding under a rock sometimes because I came across this concealer while shopping at Macy’s one day. After looking it up, I saw the tremendous reviews it had so I brought it home with me. If you want a full coverage, not-going-to-crease-or-cake concealer, this one is your guy. I absolutely love the full coverage of it. I think this is one you can even go without setting if you don’t want to. I’ve been using it every day since purchasing it and it is one of my new favorite concealers!
After hearing so many people impressed with this one, I decided to purchase it and try it myself. I had some trouble shade matching but finally got it right. This foundation is absolutely beautiful. I featured this foundation in my blog post: drugstore products that rival high end, and I mean it when I say its just as great as pricey foundations. The finish is a satin-matte and the coverage is medium. It can be full depending on what tool you use to apply it. I’ve been using this one all month long!
This palette has such nice packaging and it performs exceptionally. I could not resist after seeing it in person. I did an in depth review with swatches HERE, and I have to say its a stunning palette. The colors are absolutely beautiful and soft. They last all day. My favorite has to be the highlight shade. It is gorgeous and even with rotating products, I keep this one around for the highlight shade. I love it!
I was super late in picking this one up. I was skeptical of the color scheme and wanted to save some money before purchasing this one since it has a hefty price tag. After using it for some time I decided to write a dedicated review to it HERE. I cannot believe I waited so long to purchase it! (wait, yeah I can). The colors are rich with pigment and you can create multiple looks with it. I definitely think it was worth the gift cards and money I spent on it. Absolutely beautiful!
As soon as I saw this one, I knew it would be mine. Again, I have a dedicated, in-depth review of this palette HERE, but I wanted to mention it as a favorite because I have been using this one frequently as well. I think the color scheme is perfect for spring, and the red shade can be sheered out to a light pink if you use a blending sponge. Do not be afraid of that red shade if its the only thing holding you back. I promise it is wearable!
A new lip discovery for me this month were the Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid lipsticks. I heard so many great things about them on youtube and decided to try one. After loving it I purchased another 3 and am a huge fan! The formula of these are moisturizing and comfortable. The wear time isn’t too long, but that’s expected with a balm/gloss-like product. I have an in depth review of them HERE.
I just had to mention Bobbi Brown’s drugstore dupe – these catsuit liquid lipsticks. I saw the colors offered at Ulta and decided to initially pick up two. Then I went back for two more and decided to compare them to BB – you can see that review HERE. They are basically the same product as the BB except for the more affordable price tag. I would recommend both of them depending on your budget. Such beautiful lip products and the shade range in these is just a bit more diverse.
Well, there you have it! These were my favorite products of the month of February. It’s kind of funny that I have a separate review for almost all of the products, but that’s how you know I truly enjoyed them. Sometimes I review things because they are new and want to provide thoughts – and other times I decided to add them to the blog because I thought they were great and had to share that with you.
What were your favorite products this month? Let me know!
Thank you so much for reading!
