If there’s one thing that makes me weak at the knees, its a new NARS cheek palette. Seriously! No matter how much I resist, I cannot get away from them. Thus was the case with the new NARS Exposed cheek palette. I thought I could resist it since so many people said it was similar to the holiday Hot Tryst, but after seeing reviews and looks on it, I just could not pass it up.
Recently, Urban Decay Cosmetics released a brand new palette after retiring the original, revolutionary Naked palette. Naked Reloaded was presented to the world on February 9 via their Instagram page. It was released on February 27 to retailers after being sold on their site for a while. I was gifted this product by Urban Decay and thought I would review it for you and provide comparison swatches to the original Naked and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette.
February is a month that will always pass by too fast for me. Seriously! I am so happy to report that I tried a ton of products this month and many of them were hits. So instead of rambling on, lets get to them since this post might be pretty long.
Today I’m here to provide you an extremely late review on the Natasha Denona Gold palette. Yes, I am very late to the party. This palette was released on October 2, 2018 (I went back to check), and I finally purchased this in January 2019. The reason it took me so long to buy it was that I decided to wait for reviews on it and wanted to get all of my holiday shopping / new house buying things out of the way first. I was also secretly hoping to receive gift cards for Christmas so that the price wouldn’t hurt my wallet as much. My family came through and I was finally able to buy it!
Bobbi Brown recently released 14 brand new liquid lipsticks for Spring 2019. I wasn’t interested in picking them up until I came across a whole bunch of great reviews from my favorite YouTubers, beauty bloggers, and friends on Instagram. So, after buying one and using it, I now have 4 in my collection. I am so excited to review them for you! And, I may have just found their drugstore dupe!
This year, I decided to gift myself something for Valentines Day. After all, I deserve it, right?! We all do! I wasn’t sure what it would be until Natasha Denona revealed her new Spring 2019 Bloom Blush & Glow Palette. I watched every Insta Story: from her reveal to her mini tutorials and I knew this would be the gift I would give myself.
As soon as it was available on Sephora’s website, I placed an order for it and its actually been one of the fastest items shipped to me, ever! Since then, I have worn it a total of 4 times and I am ready to give you my thoughts on this palette.
Hello! I was recently contacted by a brand new (to the American market) makeup company called LINA CHOO. They asked if I would be willing to accept their Great Artist Matte Lipstick collection as a gift to which I excitedly agreed. After noticing only very few reviews on Instagram, YouTube, and blogs, I decided that I would review them here, in case you came across the brand and were interested in one of the lipsticks.
As you know, one of my favorite things to do is shop my stash. Seriously! I get so much joy out of picking different things to use each week. During one of my recent rotations I noticed that over the past year there’s been an increase in the amount of drugstore products I’ve been using. In fact, I’m not only rotating between more drugstore products, I am thoroughly enjoying them and find myself choosing them over some of my high end favorites.
Recently, Becca Cosmetics collaborated with Khloe Kardashian and her best friend Malika Haqq to make a collection of face palettes and lipsticks. I had no idea this was a thing until promo pictures were released and circulated the beauty world. After much thought and consideration, I decided to purchase the Made With Love by Malika face palette and nude lipstick in the shade Yours Truly. Eventually, I picked up the other face palette as well, but I will save that for another review.
Did you think I was done? If you read the first part of this series (you can read HERE), you will know that I did a “round-up” of my eyeshadow palette purchases from Sephora during 2018 and provided my thoughts on each palette, let you know how much use I truly got out of each one, which have been decluttered, etc. One day when I unexpectedly had the morning off from work (thanks horrible, cold, rainy weather), I went through all of my Ulta emails and decided I’d do a second part dedicated to my Ulta eyeshadow palette purchases.
