The Urban Decay Elements palette was one I had my eye on as soon as I saw promo pics. I’m a huge fan of these mostly shimmer palettes – I’ve got plenty of matte shades in my collection that I can pair them with so I don’t necessarily need an all-in-one palette. Urban Decay was very generous in gifting this to me so I was excited to receive it and decided to review it for you!
I think we were all pleasantly surprised when Sephora announced that they would be having a Beauty Insider Appreciation Event Haul that included 20% off for VIB Rouge, 15% off for VIBs, and 10% for BI. They only have this event 2 times a year: during the Spring and during the holidays, so this one left us all wondering… huh?! But we’ll take it!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve written a blog post dedicated to my favorite beauty items. It’s actually a little hard sometimes to do them since I have enjoyed shopping my stash and rotating products since January. Can you believe I’ve actually kept it up for half the year?! There were some really great items I used this month so I felt I HAD TO post about them. Continue reading
I am here to share something with you that I honestly really didn’t think I’d ever get: KKW Beauty Classic palette. I didn’t think I’d ever buy anything from her line, but this one intrigued me very much. But I didn’t purchase it quickly. Hell, I even waited a few months, but I finally pulled the trigger… and I’m glad I did. Continue reading
I was very shocked when I received the new Born To Run palette by Urban Decay. I haven’t been purchasing makeup since the Spring VIB sale and decided that this would be my next buy with a 20% off coupon code Ulta sent over. Although I ended up receiving it, I am glad to know my money would have been well spent because *SPoiLeR aLerT* I love it!
I’m here to provide quick thoughts on what items I liked and didn’t like from the first round of the Sephora Spring VIBR sale! You can read my initial haul post HERE. I always like hearing how people ended up liking the things they purchased and sometimes we don’t get an update (which I’m guilty of myself) but I figured I’d do one! So here we go!
I wasn’t planning on reviewing this Bronze Ambition palette, but it seems silly to not review something I was thoroughly impressed with ( *spoiler alert* ). I picked up this eyeshadow palette at the beginning of March when a plethora of eyeshadow palettes were released at the same time. No really, there were commercials everywhere and I was embarrassed to admit that I had picked up most of them.
As I was gathering some pink items from my makeup collection to take a photo of for instragram I began to notice some items in there that I hadn’t touched in quite a while. While I do try my hardest to use as many products as I can on a weekly basis (this has been a fun thing for me to do since January), I noticed some things that hadn’t made it into my makeup rotation –
The Tarte Be a Mermaid & Make Waves Palette ($42 US) was a palette that I wasn’t interested in, initially. I had seen promo pics all over Instagram and made no mental notes to check this out because I was interested in other releases. When I went to my local Sephora on the day all of these crazy palettes released (it was insane!), I had a look at all of the new offers.
