February is a month that will always pass by too fast for me. Seriously! I am so happy to report that I tried a ton of products this month and many of them were hits. So instead of rambling on, lets get to them since this post might be pretty long.
I’m so excited to share the products I loved and reached for the month of January! I believe I stated in my Insta Stories that I would be shopping my stash quite differently this year. Last year, I forced myself to rotate things after a week, even if I was thoroughly enjoying them. This year, I decided not to rotate things I was truly enjoying so that I could use them as much as I needed before I swapped them out for something different. Continue reading
It’s been quite a while since I’ve written a blog post dedicated to my favorite beauty items. It’s actually a little hard sometimes to do them since I have enjoyed shopping my stash and rotating products since January. Can you believe I’ve actually kept it up for half the year?! There were some really great items I used this month so I felt I HAD TO post about them. Continue reading
This review is LONG overdue. I was getting ready to do my weekly makeup review on my Insta Stories (happens every Saturday and I’ve had good feedback with it so far) when I noticed that as much as I use/love and talk about these Gen Nude blushes, I haven’t really dedicated a blog post to them. So I decided – why not? And here we are.
I’m here to provide quick thoughts on what items I liked and didn’t like from the first round of the Sephora Spring VIBR sale! You can read my initial haul post HERE. I always like hearing how people ended up liking the things they purchased and sometimes we don’t get an update (which I’m guilty of myself) but I figured I’d do one! So here we go!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a favorites post! As you might know, if you’re coming from my instagram page, I’ve been rotating my stash weekly. Because I’ve been rotating weekly I feel as though sometimes its a little unjust to pick favorites when I’ve only had about a week with them. However, there have been a couple of standouts that I just had to mention so that I can look back at my blog a year from now and compare, etc.
Y’all I’ve never really been excited about Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty. Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever made an Instagram post or made as much a fuss about it before, but I did see some things that were going to be on sale that I have and love and thought I would share with you what I think is worth it and also let you know what I’m interested in picking up.
I have spent the last two months shopping my stash weekly in order to get use out of my makeup collection – which is massive in my personal opinion. I skipped out on January favorites because I was adamant about using different things every single week. For the month of February, I allowed myself to spill products over into the next week without feeling too guilty about it.
This week’s palette choices were a little more exciting for me and I’ll tell you why: I love all the palettes in my collection, but I REALLY love the palettes that were chosen for me. Last week’s were just okay (read my post on them here; shop my look here) but the palettes this week aren’t only good, they have sentimental value.
Well it’s officially been 10 days since I’ve been on a no-buy and I have to say that I’m pretty proud of myself so far. Have I stopped looking at all the new makeup releases coming out? Of course not! But have I made any purchases? Well, of course not! 🙂 Continue reading
