I think we were all pleasantly surprised when Sephora announced that they would be having a Beauty Insider Appreciation Event Haul that included 20% off for VIB Rouge, 15% off for VIBs, and 10% for BI. They only have this event 2 times a year: during the Spring and during the holidays, so this one left us all wondering… huh?! But we’ll take it!
This review is LONG overdue. I was getting ready to do my weekly makeup review on my Insta Stories (happens every Saturday and I’ve had good feedback with it so far) when I noticed that as much as I use/love and talk about these Gen Nude blushes, I haven’t really dedicated a blog post to them. So I decided – why not? And here we are.
I’m here to provide quick thoughts on what items I liked and didn’t like from the first round of the Sephora Spring VIBR sale! You can read my initial haul post HERE. I always like hearing how people ended up liking the things they purchased and sometimes we don’t get an update (which I’m guilty of myself) but I figured I’d do one! So here we go!
So I decided I would do a blog post on the things I picked up during the first weekend of the VIBR sale. There were some things I included in my wishlist (which you can read about here) and some that I ended up picking up just for mere interest. I have used some of these items and am happy to provide thoughts on them!
I wasn’t planning on reviewing this Bronze Ambition palette, but it seems silly to not review something I was thoroughly impressed with ( *spoiler alert* ). I picked up this eyeshadow palette at the beginning of March when a plethora of eyeshadow palettes were released at the same time. No really, there were commercials everywhere and I was embarrassed to admit that I had picked up most of them.
As I was gathering some pink items from my makeup collection to take a photo of for instragram I began to notice some items in there that I hadn’t touched in quite a while. While I do try my hardest to use as many products as I can on a weekly basis (this has been a fun thing for me to do since January), I noticed some things that hadn’t made it into my makeup rotation –
Can you believe we’re already at Sephora’s first of two VIB sales for the year?! It feels like just yesterday I was busy planning out my wishlist for their 2017 holiday sale. Anyway, with the sale starting next week, I thought I would share
The Tarte Be a Mermaid & Make Waves Palette ($42 US) was a palette that I wasn’t interested in, initially. I had seen promo pics all over Instagram and made no mental notes to check this out because I was interested in other releases. When I went to my local Sephora on the day all of these crazy palettes released (it was insane!), I had a look at all of the new offers.
I’m continuing my makeup declutter series, this post focusing on lip products (my other makeup declutter blogpost can be read here). Oh man, I would be lying if I said that at one point in my life: lip products were my absolute obsession. So much so that I had to have every nude shade of every makeup release and if it was drugstore I would allow myself to buy multiple shades of the collections.
I’m sure you’ve seen a million and one youtube videos, read many blog posts and seen a trillion Instagram pictures on the new and beautiful Anastasia Soft Glam palette. I am here to provide the 1,000,001 review on my new and absolute favorite palette!
